how does tone me work to build muscle and burn fat?

The TONEme technology uses High Intensity Elecro Magnetic Technology (HIEMT) to create muscle contractions that are far greater than typical voluntary contractions experienced during exercise such as an abdominal crunch or sit-up.

During each 30 minute TONEme session, you will receive up to 20,000 supra-maximal muscle contractions. A maximal contraction is the strongest voluntary contraction you can do. A supra-maximal contraction is far more intense than you could do voluntarily. What does this mean? Take treating your abdominal area with TONEme as an example, is the equivalent of doing 15,000 to 20,000 crunches in 30 minutes. The difference between your "crunches or squats" and TONEme is when you do a crunch or a squat your activating about 50% of that muscle group every 5 seconds; with TONEme, the supra-maximal contraction is activating 100% of that muscle group. These contractions create an extreme environment beneath the skin that can effectively reduce fat cells while building muscle mass.

There is no painful discomfort during the treatment. The sensation is similar to that you would feel doing an exercise (ab crunch or squat).

 TONEme TREATMENT AND RECOVERY

The recommended treatment is a total of six 30 minute TONEme sessions with 2-3 days in between each treatment (12-18 day treatment protocol). While there is no recovery period, you may feel muscle soreness similar to as you would after an intensive workout. Especially, during the beginning phase.

While results will vary with each patient, some will see results after the third treatment with most seeing results after the final treatment. Best results are seen from people who are already physically fit and eat a healthy diet.

facts

What is TONEme?

TONEme is a non-invasive body sculpting treatment that uses HI-EMT (High-Intensity Electro-Magnetic Technology) technology that induces muscle contractions and is able the affect a muscle group in a way that you could not do it yourself, creating an average of 15-20% muscle mass increase.

How does it work?

As an example: when you do a crunch or a squat you are activating about 50% of that muscle group every 3-5 seconds, TONEme can continuously expand and contract 100% of your muscles group at 15,000 to 20,000 times which is equivalently to extreme training or roughly 6 continuous hours at the gym.  The electromagnetic muscle training treatment can achieve deep remodeling of muscle tissue by stimulating muscle growth and the production of new protein chains, which all adds to increasing muscle density and volume. At the same time, this extreme amount of muscle contraction causes fatty acids to be broken down, meaning that while training your muscles, it will also be burning fat as a nice side effect.

Is the treatment painful?

While pain and discomfort are relative and experiences will vary, TONEme involves minimal discomfort, if at all. During the procedure, you will feel your muscles contract with the treatment. After treatment, you will feel like your muscles have been worked. Any such feelings will be short-lived.

How long do results last?

On average, patients can enjoy their TONEme results for about six months. TONEme is a muscle stimulator and works in the same way as regular exercise, muscle mass will be lost if it is not continuously stimulated.   It is recommended that patients maintain a healthy diet and exercise, along with regular follow-up TONEme sessions every few months to continue with results.

Areas of treatment and/or improvement?

  • Abdomen, Arms, Buttocks, Legs

  • Diastasis Rectis (the separation of Rectus Abdominis Muscle)

  • Reduces lower back pain.

  • Improves week bladder.
